Instructions for the Snowman's Scarf

My mom wants to make sure we have the directions for the scarf she created for Corinne's quiet book.

You may want to add this to the patterns, etc., for 
Quiet Books. 

SNOWMAN'S SCARF

Materials:
knitting needles -- single point, 10", size 2
#2 weight (fine) sock/sport yarn

Gauge:
10 stitches = 1 inch

Cast on 10 stitches.
Knit 1 row, purl 1 row, (stockinette stitch)
Repeat these two rows, until piece measures 16"
Bind off
Block

Put fringe on each end.

Re-block ends.

Sew into book behind snowman's neck.  

Enjoy helping little fingers learn to snugly tie 
up the snowman's scarf!
