Recent Projects

Here are some recent sewing projects.

A tablecloth for Anne Field to take to live model horse shows.
Melissa's Thanksgiving pillowcase. (Thanksgiving fabric is so tough to find!)
An embroidered haversack for a blog reader.
Some embroidered blankets for the winners of a drawing on Horsemama.

I made a few practice ones for my own models.

Which my Lady Phases are wearing!

Lukas' Thanksgiving Pillowcase

This is the fabric I used for Lukie's Thanksgiving pillowcase.

Susie's Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Pillowcases

I am sending Susie's pillowcases in a box with the family's Halloween goodies.
She is getting the black cat/owl/pumpkin fabric for her Halloween pillowcase.
This turkey/pumpkin fabric for Thanksgiving. (Thanksgiving fabric for kids is tough to find!)
 And peppermint balls for Christmas.
Julie and Kate have candy themed Christmas pillowcases, so this will be a nice match.

Mila and Kate's Thanksgiving Pillowcases

Yeesh! I almost forgot to make these for the girls! And when I went fabric shopping, both at brick and mortar stores as well as online, there was NOTHING available. Luckily, their mamas liked what I had on hand.
Mila is getting the green on the left, and Kate the "Gobble Wobble" on the right.

I will mail Kate's today or tomorrow and hand deliver Mila's since she lives just across the river.

Thinking ahead, I asked the mamas about Christmas fabric choices, and have those cut out, matched to thread, and ready to sew.

The Quads' Thanksgiving Pillowcases

Well, more than the quads - Jessica has asked that I make one for Titan, too, so his is included here, too.
Titan's is on top, and Cambria's on the bottom.
 Julie's.
 Whitney's.
 Ian's. (His matches JC's.)
As a bonus, I made table runners for Sarah, Vanessa, Lisa, Ashley, and me from this beautiful fabric. And, I made pillowcases from the same fabric as Ian's and Whitney's for Drew and Annalee Thomas.

Thanksgiving Pillowcases!

And here's a picture of the fabric I used for the grandchildren's Thanksgiving pillowcases.
The boys got the fabric on the left and the girls are on the right.
